Upon first sight, many mistake them for a wildcat. They follow you everywhere and prefer to be &#8220;in the thick of it&#8221; rather than just observing. They get along excellently with dogs and are very fond of children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"menu-card\">\n<h4>\ud83c\udfad The &#8220;Clown&#8221; of the House<\/h4>\n<p>Despite their size, they are fast and agile. They retrieve toys, play hide-and-seek, or curiously carry objects to small &#8220;stashes.&#8221; They remain playful well into old age.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"menu-card\">\n<h4>\ud83e\uddd8\u200d\u2642\ufe0f Zen Master on Four Paws<\/h4>\n<p>Noise or unfamiliar situations rarely disturb them. They are incredibly calm, but by no means boring \u2013 once they get going, they are hard to stop!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"menu-card\">\n<h4>\ud83c\udfe0 Indoor Living &amp; Sleep Needs<\/h4>\n<p>With up to 16 hours of sleep per day, they are well-suited for working professionals. However, as indoor-only cats, they require sufficient variety and play opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"diet-section\" style=\"background: #f7fafc; border-left: 5px solid #48bb78;\">\n<h3>Outdoor Access<\/h3>\n<p>Maine Coons enjoy nature, but the decision for outdoor access should be carefully considered. Once accustomed to it, they will not want to miss this luxury.<\/p>\n<div class=\"diet-highlight\" style=\"background: #fff; border-color: #48bb78; color: #2f855a; margin-top: 15px;\"><strong>Our recommendation:<\/strong> We strongly advise a <strong>secured outdoor enclosure<\/strong> (garden or balcony).
