About Us – Winerau Maine Coon
More than twenty years ago, we were enchanted by Maine Coons. From our enthusiasm for these “gentle giants” arose our desire to breed this wonderful race with heart and mind.
Health is the Top Priority
Our goal is to breed exceptionally large, true-to-type, and above all, healthy Maine Coons. We leave nothing to chance:
Regular screening for HCM & PKD.
Tested negative for HCM (mybPC3), SMA & PKdef.
Cat flu, feline distemper, leukemia & rabies.
Our Philosophy
We enjoy attending exhibitions successfully – but only if the cat enjoys it. The needs of the animal always come before the trophy. The most rewarding part for us is following the development of our kittens even after they have been placed. We are very grateful to our kitten families for this close contact.
When a Winerau kitten moves out…
Our “babies” are ready for the big world at 12 weeks at the earliest. They have everything in their luggage for a perfect start:
